Premier Cloud Store Node

Introduction

The DAAS Store Node is the ideal solution for ISVs that require a high I/O and ultra-reliable dedicated cloud storage solution or that which to build out their own storage cloud. It is compromised of at least 3 DAAS Storage Nodes that contain 4 disks each. Beyond the 3 initial nodes, you can add capacity on a per node basis.

The biggest advantage of having your own cloud store compared to storing your data on a shared DAAS data cloud is the improved processing offered by dedicated hardware.

Using the patented dispersed storage technology all data written to disk will be stored on 12 actual disks, out of which 5 can fail without any data loss. Should a disk fail, the system will automatically rebalance the data over the remaining available disks in order to maintain this ratio.

When adding additional DAAS Store Nodes to your private cloud, the system will automatically recalibrate your data spread for optimal data security.
