Standard Cloud Store Node

Introduction

The Standard Cloud Store Node is the default storage for your DAAS virtual machines. It is based on a dedicated storage space within the DAAS storage cloud. One Node is compromised of 500GB of storage on our ultra-reliable storage cloud. This storage is reserved for your cloud only. The disk IO however could be shared between multiple customers. For higher IO performance, check out our Premier Cloud Store Node. Be aware that all CPU nodes are equipped with Solid State caches that greatly improve the disk performance compared to traditional solutions.

Using the patented dispersed storage technology all data written to disk will be stored on 12 disks spread over up to 12 different physical servers within the larger DAAS storage cloud. This ensures enterprise level data security while maintaining high throughput speeds using multi-tier caching and IO optimization.
